Brigitte Evrard

Adam Ryan

Pentawards International Project Manager

Adam joined the Pentawards team in February of 2017. Since joining Adam has spearheaded the Pentwards to become the biggest Package Design competition in the world and recently organise the Pentawards gala ceremony at the Guggenheim Musuem in New York.

Adam studied Graphic Design at London College of Printing before becoming a fashion designer and then a successful entrepreneur. Adam worked as a creative consultant for several international businesses such as; Westfields, Diesel, Kurt Geiger and Lexus. 

In 2014, Adam was made Head of Brand at luxury jeweller company Tresor Paris where he worked for 3 years. In 2016, Adam worked as Creative Director for global YouTube stars the F2 Freestylers.

Adam has a wealth of experience across various industries which include Fashion, Design, Marketing and Events.



Joe Oakley

Pentawards Project Coordinator

Joe joined the Pentawards team in August 2017 as a university graduate, with 1st class honours in Event Management & International Business.

He was recruited through a national competition called The Eventice, which is run annually to identify the next generation of event / business leaders, who are keen to gain a foothold in the industry and make an impact straight out of university. The competition allows students to compete against eachother to win an exciting job opporunity. After a long process Joe eventually became the winner of the 2017 competition and in turn received the opporunity to join the Pentawards team through Easyfairs.





Paul MacDonald

Pentawards Director

With over 20 years of global event experience Paul MacDonald is the Global Brand Director for Easyfairs portfolio of B2B packaging events.

The portfolio includes the brands ADF (Aerosol Dispensing Forum), PCD (Packaging of Perfume Cosmetics & Design), Empack, Label&Print, Luxury Packaging, Packaging Innovations and Industrial Pack. The events can be found in 19 cities across 12 countries throughout Europe, Asia and America.

I am delighted that the Pentawards is now part of our current portfolio, especially as it is the most prestigious worldwide competition exclusively dedicated to packaging design in all it’s forms.



Beth Kelly

Pentawards Operations Manager

Beth’s 14 years’ experience includes events across Hair & Beauty, Optical, Packaging and Laboratory.  Beth joined Easyfairs in February 2016 and is the Operations Manager for the UK Packaging portfolio which is includes Packaging Innovations, Luxury Packaging, Empack and Label&Print, along with Lab Innovations, and the Pentawards. Beth loves to be creative at any opportunity and has a huge passion for art and design.  

Adding the Pentawards to Beth’s portfolio couldn’t be more perfect.



Hatsumi Izawa

Hatsumi studied French at the ≪Centre international des études françaises de l‘Université Catholique de l’Ouest≫ in Angers, France

Worked as Interpreter & coordinator for SAAB, and RENAULT with Japanese cardesigner, TetsuTANAKA

Marketing Manager of ROBERTET‐Tokyo, the French Perfume & FlavourMaker.

Consultant Asian Market for Carré Noir Paris. Director of Carré Noir Tokyo.

Founded HI AND PARTNERS Co., Ltd. to introduce the French designers to Japan and to officially represent Caron Design Network in Japan.
